Job summary

Legacy Church is seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our facilities team. You will perform cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, sanitary environment for our congregation. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and operating cleaning equipment while following health and safety policies.

Weekend and night availability is preferred to support church events. Assist with general labor for projects and respond promptly to requests, helping us uphold Legacy Church's standards of

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Strong ability to pull and push work-related equipment, such as a loaded housekeeping cart over uneven and sloping surfaces.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time.
• Ability to manipulate, turn, and grasp objects of different sizes and weights.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and motor skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Return all phone calls, emails and texts within 24 hours.
• Notify supervisor of any damages, deficits or safety issues.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to Legacy Church standards.
