Job summary

Legacy Church's Clovis Campus is seeking a dedicated full-time Housekeeping team member to keep facilities clean and welcoming. You will perform a range of cleaning tasks, stock supplies, and follow all safety policies to protect our community and property.

Ideal candidates are physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, comfortable working evenings or weekends, and able to operate cleaning equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely.
• Flexibility to work weekends and nights.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning: sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety rules and be aware of company practices.
• Apply necessary chemicals and solvents to surfaces to remove stains and dirt.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures for cleaning tasks.
• Carry out cleaning duties with necessary equipment.
• Execute general labor for special projects such as furniture movement.
• Operate cleaning machinery according to protocol.
• Return all calls, emails and texts within 24 hours.

Clovis Campus Housekeeping Position (Full-time)

Primary:

• Perform a variety of cleaning activity such a sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company related practices
• Applying necessary chemicals and solvents to surfaces in order to easily and effectively remove stain and dirt
• Complying with all safety policies and procedures that are related to carrying out cleaning tasks
• Carrying out cleaning duties with the aid of necessary equipment
• Executing general labor activities for special projects such as furniture movement and other assignments as required
• Carefully handling and operating all cleaning machinery according to protocol
• Return all phone calls, emails and texts within 24 hours

Secondary

• Notify supervisor of any damages, deficits or safety issues
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to Legacy Church standards
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Follow the policies and procedures as defined in Legacy Church Handbook

Requirements

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Strong ability to pull and push work-related equipment, such as a loaded housekeeping cart over uneven and sloping surfaces
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time
• Ability to manipulate, turn, and grasp objects of different sizes and weights
• Strong hand-eye coordination and motor skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and nights as needed
