Job summary

Legacy Church is seeking a dedicated Full Time Hourly Housekeeping Team Member to maintain a safe, clean campus environment. You will perform cleaning tasks, stock consumables, and follow health and safety rules to meet Legacy Church standards.

Expect to handle cleaning machinery, lift up to 25 lbs, and work weekends or nights as needed while delivering prompt responses to communications. You will contribute to a welcoming, sanitary space for worshippers.

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Check stocking levels of consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and company practices.
• Apply chemicals to surfaces to remove stains and dirt.
• Follow safety policies and procedures related to cleaning tasks.
• Use cleaning machinery and equipment according to protocol.
• Assist with general labor tasks for special projects such as furniture moving.

Job description

Full Time Hourly Housekeeping Position - Central Campus

Primary:

• Perform a variety of cleaning activity such a sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company related practices
• Applying necessary chemicals and solvents to surfaces in order to easily and effectively remove stain and dirt
• Complying with all safety policies and procedures that are related to carrying out cleaning tasks
• Carrying out cleaning duties with the aid of necessary equipment
• Executing general labor activities for special projects such as furniture movement and other assignments as required
• Carefully handling and operating all cleaning machinery according to protocol
• Return all phone calls, emails and texts within 24 hours

Secondary

• Notify supervisor of any damages, deficits or safety issues
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to Legacy Church standards
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Follow the policies and procedures as defined in Legacy Church Handbook

Requirements

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Strong ability to pull and push work-related equipment, such as a loaded housekeeping cart over uneven and sloping surfaces
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time
• Ability to manipulate, turn, and grasp objects of different sizes and weights
• Strong hand-eye coordination and motor skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and nights as needed
