Job summary

Holiday Inn Express and Suites is seeking a detail-oriented housekeeper to create a safe, clean space for guests. You will clean rooms to IHG standards, stock carts with supplies, replenish amenities, and maintain storage while ensuring guest confidentiality and privacy.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, weekend availability, and a commitment to prompt, professional guest service.

• Report maintenance concerns to maintenance department.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean, dust, vacuum and mop room and bathroom according to IHG standards and procedure.
• Clean rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stock assigned housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies and room amenities.
• Replenish guest amenities in rooms as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping storage.
• Communicate any maintenance concerns to maintenance department.
• Transport waste and trash to proper disposal area.
• Turn in Lost and Found items to the front desk.
• Maintain guest confidentiality.
• Greet guests and respond to guest requests or concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
• All other duties as assigned.
