Job summary

Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Bloomington, IN is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to uphold IHG standards. You will thoroughly clean guest rooms, stock supplies, and greet guests with a friendly, professional attitude.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and weekend availability. Training on safety and confidentiality is provided; health insurance is offered for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and moving around the hotel.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull, up to 50 pounds.
• Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods.
• Availability to include weekends.
• Prioritization and time management skills.

• Thoroughly clean, dust, vacuum and mop room and bathroom according to IHG standards and procedure.
• Clean rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stock assigned housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies and room amenities.
• Replenish guest amenities in rooms as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping storage.
• Communicate any maintenance concerns to maintenance department.
• Transport waste and trash to proper disposal area.
• Turn in Lost and Found items to the front desk.
• Maintain guest confidentiality.
• Greet guests and respond to guest requests or concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
• All other duties as assigned.
