Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Attendant is an integral part of the service team, responsible for cleaning, restocking, and maintaining guest rooms, common areas, and offices, along with laundry duties. They contribute to exceeding guest expectations by providing welcoming service and maintaining the company's culture and reputation.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accountability for housekeeping procedures including cleaning, inventory/restocking, and laundry.
2. Track inventory of linens, amenities, and supplies.
3. Update and maintain housekeeping logs and checklists.
4. Monitor guest rooms and areas for maintenance needs and communicate with maintenance staff.
5. Coordinate with Food & Beverage and Front Desk staff for guest services.
6. Communicate effectively with the Front Desk regarding guest room status and needs.
7. Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met, complying with health, safety, and fire regulations.
8. Report safety infractions and incidents promptly.
9. Maintain equipment in safe working condition.
10. Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, including OSHA standards.
11. Meet educational requirements: High School diploma or GED.
12. Have at least one year of housekeeping or related experience; hotel experience preferred.
