Job summary

Indiana Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated hotel housekeeper to maintain clean, orderly rooms according to IHG standards. You will stock carts, replenish amenities, and ensure guest confidentiality while addressing guest requests promptly. Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean, dust, vacuum and mop rooms and bathrooms per IHG standards.
• Clean rooms quickly and efficiently.
• Stock housekeeping carts with supplies and amenities.
• Replenish guest amenities in rooms as needed.
• Maintain organized housekeeping storage areas.
• Report maintenance concerns to the maintenance department.
• Transport waste to proper disposal area.
• Turn in Lost and Found items to the front desk.
• Maintain guest confidentiality and greet guests professionally.
• Handle any other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean, dust, vacuum and mop room and bathroom according to IHG standards and procedure.
• Clean rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stock assigned housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies and room amenities.
• Replenish guest amenities in rooms as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping storage.
• Communicate any maintenance concerns to maintenance department.
• Transport waste and trash to proper disposal area.
• Turn in Lost and Found items to the front desk.
• Maintain guest confidentiality.
• Greet guests and respond to guest requests or concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and moving around the hotel.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull, up to 50 pounds.
• Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods.
• Availability to include weekends.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
