Job summary

The Metropolitan at The 9 in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms and bathrooms to luxury standards. You will clean, restock, and inspect rooms, ensuring safety and brand cleanliness.

Prior housekeeping is helpful, but we train motivated individuals. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work weekends and holidays are valued. This is an on-site hotel role with teamwork and guest service at the core.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule as business demands.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
• Make beds with fresh linens and replace towels and amenities.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all guest room areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, mirrors, countertops, showers, tubs, and toilets.
• Replenish guest supplies including toiletries, coffee, cups, and linens.
• Inspect rooms to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for arriving guests.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns promptly.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from guest rooms.
• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized, and well-stocked condition.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and courteously.
• Follow all hotel safety, cleanliness, and brand standards.
• Complete daily assignments and cleaning checklists before the end of each shift.

What You'll Do

As a Room Attendant, you'll be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms

to the high standards our guests expect while helping create an exceptional hospitality experience.
