Job summary

Senior Living Residences Marlboro in Marlboro, NJ is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Associate to maintain a clean, safe, home-like environment for our senior residents. Schedule: Thursday–Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Assisted living experience is preferred.
• Strong communication with residents and co-workers.
• Be punctual and reliable for daily schedules.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 30 pounds, and bend during duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform laundry and housekeeping according to the assigned schedule.
• Clean residents' apartments weekly and handle occasional emergency housekeeping tasks.
• Clean common spaces, furniture, fixtures, and bathrooms; restock supplies as needed.
• Maintain equipment used within the department.
• Collaborate with team to complete assignments.

What Our Housekeeping Associates Do

• Complete laundry and housekeeping according to the assigned schedule.
• Clean residents’ apartments on a weekly basis as assigned and perform emergency housekeeping duties as needed.
• Clean common spaces, furniture and fixtures, and bathrooms. Replenish bathroom supplies in common areas, as needed.
• Take care of equipment used within the department.
• Work with a team to complete assignments.

Requirements

• Physical requirements: Standing, lifting (up to 30 pounds), bending
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co‑workers
• Be on time and reliable – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our team to be reliable at all times.
• Assisted living experience, preferred
