Job summary

Green Hills is seeking a hospitality-minded Housekeeping Associate to join our health care center in Ames, IA. This part-time evening shift (Mon–Fri 2:30pm–6:30pm, 3 days per week) focuses on keeping apartments, townhomes, common areas, and the Health Care Center clean and orderly.

The role includes safe laundry work and delivering linens to resident rooms. You should be able to follow written and oral instructions, adhere to infection-control procedures, and perform routine housekeeping tasks

• Understand written and oral instructions.
• Can follow infection-control practices.
• Able to follow appropriate procedures involved in various routine duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties in apartments and townhomes, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting surfaces.
• Follow approved infection control procedures.
• Complete general housekeeping duties in common areas.
• Deliver clean linens and laundry to resident rooms in the Health Care Center.

Green Hills is actively looking for a hospitality-minded Housekeeping Associate to join our growing team! This role is responsible for the clean and presentable appearance of the Health Care Center and for the cleanliness and neatness of apartments, town homes, and common areas. The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for carrying out the normal laundry activity procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
