Job summary

Supervisor’s Title: Director of Plant Operations

Position Summary

Performs housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean, comfortable, and attractive living environment for residents.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform weekly and routine cleaning functions as directed; report mechanical issues promptly; use protective eyewear as appropriate.
• Complete miscellaneous assignments to meet department needs; support cross‑department teamwork.

Education

Experience

Knowledge/Skills

• Comfort using Gardens Care’s approved systems is required: Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Meet), ECP (care management), Sagely (life enrichment/ activity documentation), and ADP (timekeeping, payroll, scheduling).

Special Requirements

• Medical clearance per policy.

• Standard housekeeping carts and supplies; laundry equipment.

Physical Activities

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.; climb/reach/bend/twist occasionally; frequent talking and listening; frequent handling of linens/supplies.
