Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a housekeeping assistant shift manager to supervise staff and manage daily operations on a designated shift at our casino property. The role focuses on maintaining cleaning standards and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Starting salary ranges from $52,000 to $55,000 annually, with benefits such as day-one medical coverage, 401(k) matching, and an annual performance bonus, adjusted by local policy. PTO accrues with employment tenure.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma required.
• AA degree or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

Responsibilities

• Ensures the day-to-day cleaning of the Casino property is performed to established standards on a designated shift
• Ensures deep cleaning activities are performed with minimal impact to operations, during applicable shift
• Responsible for inspecting work; inspects completed work
• Responsible for keeping supply par levels according to standard operating procedures on a designated shift
• Makes recommendations for needed supplies and equipment
• Assists in ordering all supplies and equipment inventory
• Responsible for ensuring OSHA standards are followed
• Responsible for ensuring department has all necessary tools to complete tasks and that all equipment is in working order
• Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management
