Responsibilities

• Effectively manages the daily operations of housekeeping services in the hotel to promote and maintain guest service excellence.
• Direct Housekeeping Supervisors and team members to ensure high cleanliness standards in public areas and guest rooms.
• Schedule the workforce to ensure all areas and shifts are adequately covered.
• Develop and maintain a safety program for all housekeeping team members; train on OSHA standards.
• Hire, evaluate, and promote team members; conduct regular performance reviews.
• Complete team member evaluations as defined by Company policy.

• Effectively manages the daily operations of housekeeping services in the hotel to promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber guest service to all guests/team members.
• Direct Housekeeping Supervisors and team members to ensure a high standard of cleanliness in all public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Ensure offices, guest rooms, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition.
• Tour facility checking all public areas, evaluating the performances of the housekeeping team member.
• Inspects facilities and recommends repairs and upgrades when needed.
• Counsel team members in a positive, constructive manner as necessary.
• Schedule the work force to ensure all areas and shifts are adequately covered.
• Initiate and direct heavy cleaning so that the highest level of productivity is maintained and completion schedules are met.
• Cross-train entire team for all shift-related duties and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain a safety program for all housekeeping team members. - Train all Housekeeping team members in OSHA standards and regulations and documentation.
• Order supplies, ensuring all par levels are maintained for the housekeeping team.
• Conduct meetings with Housekeeping Supervisors to discuss job functions, teamwork, team development, concerns and questions.
• Hire line team members for all positions. - Develop, evaluate and recommend candidates for promotions.
• Complete team member evaluations as set forth in established Company policy.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.
