Job summary

Hollywood Casino at Greektown in Detroit is seeking housekeeping team members to assist with linens, stocking, and cleaning public spaces. You will respond to guest requests and help keep closets, vending areas, and restrooms organized and well maintained.

The role requires clear English communication, the ability to multitask, and a high school diploma. About six months of housekeeping experience is preferred; training and team support are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six (6) months experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing in English.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under time constraints and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist housekeeping attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens.
• Deliver linens and supplies to housekeeping attendants.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas.
• Respond to guests' requests, including delivery of housekeeping supplies, promptly.
• Clean public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas and other designated spaces.
• Monitor and control supplies to minimize waste in all areas.
• Log lost and found items and report as required.
• Comply with health and safety standards and attend scheduled meetings.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.

• Clean other designated areas such as public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and other public areas as assigned
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
• May collect newspaper and other items for recycling
• Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures
• Comply with all health and safety standards
• Attend regular meetings as scheduled
• Other job-related duties as assigned
