Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to support daily operations and supervise housekeeping staff.

You will train teams, schedule assignments, ensure safety and cleanliness, and collaborate with front desk, maintenance, and operations to meet guest and owner expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience required.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Minimum age 21.
• Valid Utah driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping, common area cleaners, and houseperson staff
• Plan and distribute assignments to ensure optimal coverage
• Train and reinforce cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards
• Ensure proper use of housekeeping equipment and SDS training
• Collaborate with front desk, operations, and maintenance to prioritize requests
• Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating housekeeping staff
• Prepare daily housekeeping boards for prioritizing needs
• Oversee room inspection sheets and monthly scoring
• Maintain lost and found and mail items
• Oversee weekly inventory and ordering of supplies
• Routinely inspect units for quality and cleanliness
• Manage keys and codes
• Perform billing for housekeeping services
• Coordinate and oversee deep cleans
• Communicate priority requests to teams
• Other duties as assigned
