Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to support daily housekeeping operations and supervise staff. You will train teams, assign duties, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards while coordinating with front desk and maintenance to meet guest needs.

The role requires prior management experience, a high school diploma, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a valid Utah driver’s license. Year-round employment with competitive hourly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) candidates preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Possess a valid Utah driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping, common area cleaners, and houseperson staff.
• Plan and distribute assignments to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak periods.
• Train and reinforce cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with policies.
• Ensure proper use of housekeeping equipment and SDS training.
• Collaborate with front desk, operations, and maintenance to prioritize homeowner and guest requests.
• Assist in recruiting, managing, training, developing, and evaluating housekeeping staff.
• Prepare daily housekeeping boards for prioritizing operational needs.
• Oversee room inspection sheets and monthly score reporting to the housekeeping manager.
• Maintain lost and found and mail items appropriately.
• Oversee weekly inventory of housekeeping supplies and order replacements.
• Routinely inspect units to meet company cleanliness standards.
• Maintain control of keys and codes.
• Perform timely billing for housekeeping services including owner stays.
• Coordinate and oversee deep cleans.
