Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH, seeks a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to oversee daily housekeeping operations and supervise staff.

You will support management, ensure guest satisfaction, and lead a team aligned with our service standards; prior supervisory experience in a large resort is required. Strong computer skills and a willingness to coordinate across shifts are essential.

Competenze

• 4 years of housekeeping supervisory experience, preferably in a hotel/resort with over 500 rooms.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred but not required.
• Broad understanding of tourism and daily operations of a large volume hotel/resort.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; LMS/Time&Attendance and property systems.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful.

Mansioni

• Monitor and evaluate staff work performance on an on-going basis, praise and discipline staff as appropriate.
• Attend management and department meetings and communicates with staff on all shifts.
• Resolve guest complaints that will encourage repeat visits to the resort.
• Build team environment and group morale.
• Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with all associates.
• Respond to guest requests, problems, complaints, comment cards, letters and/or phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Manage day-to-day housekeeping department activities; schedule staff for proper coverage.
• Ensure staff have tools and equipment needed to perform duties.
• Schedule routine inspections of guest rooms/suites and public areas for cleanliness and upkeep.
