Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure rooms meet cleanliness standards and are ready for guest check-in. You will lead a team, uphold our service promise, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of housekeeping supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous commercial housekeeping experience required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate room attendant work performance and provide feedback.
• Assist with cleaning, deep cleaning and related projects.
• Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to support communication.
• Assist with training of room attendants.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Housekeeping Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring rooms are maintained to set standards of cleanliness and ready in a timely manner for guest accommodations.

As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll ensure rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, creating a welcoming and restful environment for our guests.

$18-$22/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate room attendant work performance on an on-going basis and provide praises, feedback, and discipline as appropriate.
• Monitor and assist with cleaning, deep cleaning and other related projects.
• Maintain a strong professional relationship with other stakeholders within Kalahari to support efficient communication to address issues that may arise.
• Assist with training of room attendants.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous commercial housekeeping experience required.
• 1+ years of housekeeping supervisory experience preferred,
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Bi-lingual skills are preferred.
• Must be able to work long hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 50 pounds.
