Job summary

West Melbourne Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Housekeeping Aide for a full-time role in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. You will help create a clean, safe, and comfortable home for residents, supporting health and dignity through meticulous cleaning and infection control practices.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, following schedules, and maintaining a welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

• Dust, disinfect, and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Clean windows, mirrors, floors, and other surfaces.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Properly use approved cleaning products and equipment.
• Follow infection prevention and workplace safety procedures.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors.
