Your role as a Housekeeping Assistant involves maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your keen eye for detail will be reflected in the environment you uphold. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning, your approach will be guided by kindness and professionalism.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although training will be provided. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with a positive attitude and the ability to get along well with others. Communication skills are essential, including listening and giving clear instructions. Always communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should feel confident in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
