Springfield Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is hiring a Housekeeping Aide for a full-time day shift. The role supports resident well-being by ensuring clean, sanitary, and welcoming spaces. Training emphasizes safety, infection control, and teamwork within a compassionate care environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, and offices.
• Maintain utility and storage rooms in a clean, organized condition.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies as directed.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to keep spaces welcoming.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Keep housekeeping carts stocked and chemicals securely stored.

$13.25/hr - $16/hr (all inclusive)

Responsibilities for Housekeeping Aide:

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.

• Clean assigned areas, including but not limited to resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public restrooms, and offices.

• Maintain utility and storage rooms in a clean, organized, and orderly condition.

• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies according to established procedures.

• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.

• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as assigned.

• Clean the inside of the resident room windows, door panels, and window sills.

• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste materials to designated disposal areas.

• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized manner, stocking necessary supplies at the end of each shift, and ensuring that chemicals not in use remain securely stored.

• Follow all established safety precautions and manufacturer guidelines when handling and using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to appropriate personnel.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas of the facility maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.

Qualifications for Housekeeping Aide:

• Ability to follow established safety precautions and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.
