Masonic Village Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Housekeeping Aide for a full-time daytime shift (7:30AM-3:30PM) in Mount Holly Township, NJ. The role offers same-day pay and a competitive hourly wage of $17.00.

Join a supportive team at a 121-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility; responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, stocking supplies, and following safety protocols with cleaning chemicals. Benefits include tuition reimbursement and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must follow established safety precautions when using cleaning chemicals
• Experience with cleaning duties in a healthcare setting is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned areas including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways and nursing stations
• Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies
• Dusts furniture and equipment
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork
• Clean the inside of resident room windows, door panels, and sills
• Empties wastebaskets and transports trash
• Stock housekeeping cart securely and keep chemicals locked
• Follow safety precautions when using cleaning chemicals as directed

Responsibilities for Housekeeping Aide:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Clean all assigned areas including but not limited to resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public bathrooms and offices as assigned.

• Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.

• Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies.

• Dusts furniture and equipment.

• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.

• Cleans the inside of resident room windows, door panels, and sills.

• Empties wastebaskets, transports trash and waste to disposal area.

• Stock housekeeping cart at the end of the day, keeping the cart in a clean orderly fashion with chemicals not in use locked inside the cart.

• Follow established safety precautions when using cleaning chemicals and use as directed.
