Oxford Rehabilitation invites you to join our team as a part-time Housekeeping Aide. We provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff, guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence.

In this role you will clean resident rooms and common areas, follow safety and infection-control procedures, and maintain supplies and carts. Starting pay is $13–$16 per hour, with daily pay options available and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Housekeeping Aide:

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
• Clean assigned areas, including but not limited to resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public restrooms, and offices.
• Maintain utility and storage rooms in a clean, organized, and orderly condition.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies according to established procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Clean the inside of the resident room windows, door panels, and windowsills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste materials to designated disposal areas.
• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized manner, stocking necessary supplies at the end of each shift, and ensuring that chemicals not in use remain securely stored.
• Follow all established safety precautions and manufacturer guidelines when handling and using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas of the facility maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.
