Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis is hiring for Day Shift Housekeepers (10am - 6pm). Join a nationwide rehab network focused on clean, comfortable facilities and supportive care for clients in recovery.

Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking, and reporting activities while maintaining safety and high standards. No formal education required; prior custodial experience preferred and sobriety requirements apply where appropriate.

Qualifications

• No formal education required
• Minimum of two years' related experience preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills
• Strong responsibility and attention to detail
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director
