Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional for full-time duties. You will perform cleaning, disinfection, waste handling and routine maintenance to support patient care areas and facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Removes all regular and medical waste.
• Cleans and disinfects all bathrooms and fixtures according to departmental guidelines.
• Cleans and disinfects all patient rooms on a daily basis per departmental guidelines.
• Performs all cleaning functions as scheduled (high and low dusting, disinfecting of all surfaces, window cleaning, dry and wet mopping).
• Maintains all floor surfaces (dry and wet mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing or extraction, stripping, scrubbing, refinishing, burnishing).
• Completes all housekeeping projects as assigned (stairwells, elevators, doors...).
• Attends monthly department meetings.
• Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed.
