Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Hospital Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe facilities in accordance with regulatory requirements. This role supports patient care by preparing rooms, disposing of waste, and ensuring supplies are stocked and available.

The ideal candidate has six months of housekeeping or maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED. The daily schedule is 6:30am to 3:00pm, with on-site work and equal opportunity employment.

• Alerts supervisor of potential problems and safety hazards.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Position Summary:Maintains cleanliness of hospital facilities following hospital, departmental, and regulatory agency requirements.Responsible for providing a safe, sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

2. Disposes of trash, biomedical and solid waste materials to appropriate disposal areas.

3. Prepares patient rooms for occupancy after patients are discharged.

4. Replaces supplies as needed.

5. Alerts supervisor of potential problems and safety hazards.

6. Performs other related duties as required and directed.
