Responsibilities

• Clean rooms according to established procedures.
• Know correct procedure for entering a guest room.
• Restock your cart and return to storage area.
• Maintain a clean housekeeping cart and storage areas.
• Report deficiencies and problems in guest rooms to Maintenance daily.
• Adhere to proper key control procedures.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings.

The Winter Haven Holiday Inn is looking for room attendants to join our housekeeping team in maintaining guest room cleanliness. Occasionally, this role will involve assisting with other housekeeping tasks, including Laundry and Public Areas.If you are enthusiastic about cleanliness and committed to delivering outstanding customer service and hospitality, we would love to hear from you!

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel and maintaining established quality standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Obtain room assignments fromsupervisor
• Clean rooms according to establishedprocedures
• Know correct procedure for entering a guestroom
• Check room for damaged furniture andequipment
• Restock your cart at the end of each shift and return cart to storagearea
• Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and storageareas
• Report all deficiencies and problems in guest rooms to the Maintenance Engineerdaily
• Be alert to all possible hazards and practice safety at alltimes
• Adhere to Lost and Foundprocedures
• Provide the highest quality of service to theguests
• Follow all safety procedures and policies for all guests andemployees
• Report any unusual occurrences or requests to a supervisorimmediately
• Adhere to proper key controlprocedures
• Attend and participate in staffmeetings

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including weekends.
