Job summary

Essenhaus Inn in Middlebury, IN, part of Dutchman Hospitality Group, seeks a friendly, detail-oriented housekeeper to maintain clean guest rooms and public areas. You will follow safety and sanitation guidelines and help ensure a comfortable stay for guests.

This part-time role offers on-the-job training, flexible schedules including Sundays, and benefits such as medical insurance, a 401(k) plan, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is beneficial.
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and shared spaces.
• Follow safe cleaning practices to keep areas sanitary.
• Prepare rooms for new guests, including laundry duties.
• Operate and maintain laundry and cleaning equipment.
• Keep rooms and laundry areas organized and stocked.

What you’ll be doing

1. Clean guest rooms,hallways, lobbies, boardroom
2. Use safe cleaning practices
3. Make sure that rooms are sanitary
4. Make sure vacant rooms are ready
5. Wash, dry and fold linens
6. Treat and sanitize items as necessary
7. Keep machines clean and disinfected
8. Keep laundry room clean, organized and stocked

Skills you’ll bring along
