Job summary

Gold's Gym contracts all cleaning with Gold Medal Cleaning. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout Gold’s Gym.

This position helps ensure members and guests have a positive experience by keeping workout areas, locker rooms, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces clean and well maintained. The role includes daily cleaning tasks such as equipment sanitation, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, and maintaining supplies,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure sanitization.
• Sweep, dust, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, office spaces, and stairs.
• Clean bathrooms, mop, scrub, and disinfect as needed.
• Maintain supplies in bathrooms (towels, tissue, soap).
• Empty trash in all assigned areas, including the gym.
• Keep all floor areas safe, clean, and orderly.
• Observe equipment for potential safety hazards.

This position helps ensure members and guests have a positive experience by keeping workout areas, locker rooms, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces clean and well maintained.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and ensure it is sanitized.
• Sweeps, dusts, mops scrubs and vacuums hallways, stairs, office space and other assigned areas of the overall gym.
• Cleans, mops, scrubs, polishes, and disinfects all bathroom areas as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms in assigned areas.
• Empties trash and garbage containers in all assigned areas, as well as the gym overall.
• Maintains all floor areas in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
• Observes equipment for potential safety hazards.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification
