Job summary

Gold's Gym of the Carolinas and Florida is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe gym environment. You will clean exercise areas, locker rooms, and common spaces, ensuring a welcoming experience for members and guests.

The role requires attention to sanitation, organization, and assisting the manager with cleanliness and facility checks across multiple club spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand and perform cleaning duties for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and sanitize as needed.
• Sweep, mop, and dust hallways, restrooms, offices, and other gym areas.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock bathrooms and supplies.
• Monitor supplies and restock as needed in assigned areas.
• Dispose of waste and maintain safe, orderly floors.
• Observe safety hazards and report as required.
• Assist the Manager with cleanliness initiatives and staff supervision.

Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout Gold’s Gym. This position helps ensure members and guests have a positive experience by keeping workout areas, locker rooms, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces clean and well maintained.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and ensure it is sanitized.
• Sweeps, dusts, mops scrubs and vacuums hallways, stairs, office space and other assigned areas of the overall gym.
• Cleans, mops, scrubs, polishes, and disinfects all bathroom areas as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms in assigned areas.
• Empties trash and garbage containers in all assigned areas, as well as the gym overall.
• Maintains all floor areas in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
• Observes equipment for potential safety hazards.
• Able to assistant the Manager with an eye of cleanliness, managing staff, inspecting clubs.
