Job summary

Gold's Gym is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our locations. You will ensure workout areas, locker rooms, restrooms, and common spaces are tidy and well maintained to help members have a positive experience.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow cleaning protocols, and the stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure it is sanitized.
• Sweep, dust, mop, scrubs and vacuums hallways, stairs, office space and other assigned areas.
• Cleans, mops, scrubs, polishes, and disinfects all bathroom areas as needed.
• Maintain a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms in assigned areas.
• Empties trash and garbage containers in all assigned areas, as well as the gym overall.
• Maintains all floor areas in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
• Observes equipment for potential safety hazards.
• Assist the Manager with cleanliness, managing staff, inspecting clubs.

This position helps ensure members and guests have a positive experience by keeping workout areas, locker rooms, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces clean and well maintained.
