Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, inviting spaces at Douglas Pointe Apartments in Hammond, Indiana. You will clean common areas, prepare vacant units to high standards, and support a safe, well-maintained community for residents and guests.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to an award-winning, people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas (lobbies, hallways, fitness centers, restrooms, laundry rooms).
• Clean and prepare vacant apartments to meet high standards.
• Perform daily, weekly, and seasonal cleaning tasks as needed.
• Restock supplies and report inventory needs.
• Inspect areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and in good repair.
• Report maintenance or repair issues promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.

What You'll Do:

• Report maintenance or repair issues promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe and healthy environment.
• Assist with special projects or community events as needed.
• Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.
