Housekeeper/Laundry Aide

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry aide (dual role) responsible for helping maintain the cleanliness of the facility.

Housekeepers must have the following:

  • Related experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in healthcare industry preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong verbal and listening skills.

As a Housekeeper you will:

  • Clean residents’ rooms.
  • Ensure bathrooms are clean and tidy.
  • Sweep and mop rooms and bathrooms.
  • Clean and make beds as assigned.
  • Clean common areas such as front lobby, nurses’ stations, public bathrooms, offices, etc.
  • Assist in room changes as needed.

As a Laundry Aide you will:

  • Responsible for collecting, cleaning, and redistributing the community laundry.
  • Partner with community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and policies.
  • Practice safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and Lockout Tag out procedures.
  • Actively participate as a member of a team and commit to working toward team goals.
  • Ensure that units are stocked with clean linens and personal items are washed/passed out to residents.
  • Pick up dirty linens, wash, dry, and fold.
  • Follow proper policies and procedures.
