Job description

Job Title: Food Service Dining Orderly

The Food Service Dining Orderly is responsible for performing various duties to facilitate food service and housekeeping. The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Essential Job Functions:

1. Working in the dish room and pot area, including washing, rinsing, and sanitizing pots, pans, dishes, glassware, bakeware, utensils, and cutting boards.
2. Sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors and workspaces such as the kitchen, storerooms, and restrooms.
3. Removing all garbage generated by the DFAC.
4. Cleaning and sanitizing all FOH equipment.
5. Maintaining cleanliness of dining room tables and chairs.
6. Escorting Local Nationals supporting DFAC operations.
7. Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries.
8. Ensuring all consumables are stocked and rotated at beverage, dessert, and soup stations, as well as coolers and shelves.
9. Reporting equipment, stock, and supply issues to the Site Lead promptly.

Knowledge & Skills:

Basic knowledge of the job, with an understanding of its general and detailed aspects and their practical applications.

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of related experience. Relevant professional experience will also be considered.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying extreme temperatures, including outdoor environments.

Security Clearance:

Active Secret Clearance required.
