Job summary

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking Housekeepers to join The Westin Buffalo team in Buffalo, NY. Full-time and part-time positions offer competitive hourly pay and a benefits package, including health/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms and public areas, assisting guests, and reporting maintenance issues. The role requires high standards and a customer-focused approach in a four‑diamond hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting highly preferred.
• Previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of cleaning utensils and equipment.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms, and restrooms; empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal area; replenish supplies.
• Conduct walk-around of assigned areas to ensure housekeeping standards; ensure linen rooms and work areas are neat, clean, and organized.
• Interact with and assist guests on occasion while cleaning guest and meeting rooms.
• Report maintenance repair problems to supervisor.
• Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily.

$17.00 - $18.00 / hour

What will you do?

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting highly preferred. Previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred
• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Visual acuity is sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
