The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time or part-time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will supervise housekeeping team members and ensure the cleanliness of the facility to maintain our culture of high standards and enhance the guest experience.

Pay

$14.50 - $14.50 / hour

What will you do?

• Hire and manage all room, house, and public area team members; provide training to team members regularly; identify areas of improvement and efficiency
• Ensure that stay-over and vacant attendant service is consistently performed by room attendants
• Inspect all assigned guest rooms to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Demonstrate proper use of cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces
• Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements

More about you

• Minimum of six months of housekeeping experience at a resort or hotel
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• No college degree required

Physical requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Visual acuity sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
