State of North Carolina - OSHR Temporary Solutions seeks a Housekeeper (S) to support housing and facilities at Jackson Springs, Moore County. The worker will perform dorm, classroom, and office cleaning, linen handling, and restroom upkeep, following a 6am–3pm schedule and receiving supervisory guidance.

The role involves lifting and moving equipment, cleaning floors and windows, and performing a range of housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

  • Education and/or experience in housekeeping work that is directly related to the job.

Responsibilities

  • Follow a work schedule to cover all phases of housekeeping for a clean, safe environment.
  • Clean dorm rooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas.
  • Clean ceilings, vents, walls, furniture; dust and vacuum.
  • Maintain floors: mop, strip, wax, buff.
  • Shampoo carpets; wash windows, screens, blinds.
  • Clean and change linen, towels, bed covers; replenish restrooms.
  • Clean lavatories, mirrors, showers, tubs; stock laundry cabinets.
  • Work under close supervision with daily instructions and inspections.
  • Perform medium- to heavy-duty physical work: lift, carry, climb ladders.
  • Remove trash from all areas, up to 55-gallon containers.
  • Lift boxes up to 50 pounds; move heavy furniture up to 200 pounds.
  • Shift: 6am-3pm.
