Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary healthcare environment per infection control standards
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices and public areas
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the building
• Replenish supplies like soaps, paper products and trash bags
• Use cleaning chemicals and disinfectants safely per OSHA guidelines
• Follow hand hygiene and PPE requirements
• Work Friday–Sunday 8:00am–4:30pm

Mountain Youth Academy is seeking a part-time housekeeper to join our growing team! Come make a difference in the life of a child and love what you do!!

Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe healthcare environment in accordance with infection control standards and hospital policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas
• Properly sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the building
• Replenish supplies such as soaps, paper products, and trashbags
• Use cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment safely according to OSHA and hospital guidelines.
• Follow proper hand hygiene and personal protective equipment
