Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. You will support a high standard of cleanliness across nursing units, patient rooms, baths, and offices, ensuring floors are mopped, dust is cleared, and windows are clean.

Work is performed under supervision to maintain orderly, sanitary spaces. The role requires 8-hour shifts, with daytime or afternoon options and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping work experience preferred.
• Employees must be in good standing to be considered for an internal transfer.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services nursing units, patient rooms, baths, bathrooms, and business offices.
• Cleans and mops floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Cleans windows and window sills.
• Empties trash baskets and arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion.
• Uses necessary equipment and supplies in proper manner to accomplish job tasks.
• Detects unclean areas and takes necessary action to insure that the Hospital cleaning standards are met.
• Exercises initiative and judgment in maintaining assigned area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Prepares soiled linen for pick up by contract laundry.

Havenwyck Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited and licensed psychiatric hospital, overlooking Lake Galloway in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We specialize in providing comprehensive, compassionate behavioral health services to children, adolescents and adults.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Environmental Services, works as a team member to provide for a high state of cleanliness and order throughout the Hospital, Residential Treatment Center and Branches.

We are se seeking a dynamic and talented Housekeeper to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

Duties include but are not limited to:
