River Falls Post Acute in Marietta, SC is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role supports resident well-being, infection prevention, and overall facility cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Long-term care or healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all public and common areas, including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms and bathrooms.
• Ensure handrails are clean and free of debris.
• Clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Follow all safety procedures, including caution signage and proper chemical storage.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectively.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary manner.
• Report resident safety concerns promptly to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing.
• Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors.
• Work independently and collaboratively to maintain facility cleanliness standards.
