This role plays an important part in supporting resident well-being, infection prevention, and overall facility cleanliness.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain all public and common areas, including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floorsClean and sanitize resident rooms and bathroomsEnsure handrails are clean and free of debrisClean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensersEmpty trash receptacles and replace linersSweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areasFollow all safety procedures, including the use of caution signage and proper chemical storageOperate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectivelyMaintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary mannerReport resident safety concerns promptly to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of NursingNotify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishmentProvide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitorsWork independently and collaboratively to maintain facility cleanliness standardsQualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrevious housekeeping experience preferredLong-term care or healthcare housekeeping experience is a plusSkills & AbilitiesStrong attention to detailExcellent time-management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude and strong customer service skillsReliable and dependable work ethicWhat Makes You a Great FitTakes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environmentCompassionate toward the senior populationOrganized, dependable, and self-motivatedTeam-oriented with a positive attitudeCommitted to resident comfort and safetyApply TodayJoin River Falls Post Acute and become part of a close-knit team where your efforts are appreciated and your work makes a difference every day.
