River Falls Post Acute in Marietta, South Carolina, is seeking a part-time Housekeeper (Maintenance) to keep public areas clean and assist with resident room upkeep. The role offers a friendly work environment, opportunities for PRN shifts across our network, and a competitive hourly wage of $12–$14.

You will clean lobbies, restrooms, rooms, and carts, follow safety guidelines, and work either independently or as part of a team in a small 44-bed facility.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; long-term care facility experience preferred.

• Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms.

Essential Duties

• Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains and floors.


• Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms.


• Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris.


• Clean and remove dust, dirt or food off walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, towel dispensers.


• Empty trash cans and replace liners.


• Sweep and mop floors.


• Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning, including the use of caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of reach of the residents.


• Use supplies and equipment in a safe manner by following the user manual instructions.


• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas in a safe, sanitary, clean and orderly manner.


• Notify the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing immediately regarding resident safety issues or concerns.


• Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies are needing replenished.


• Excellent customer skills and positive attitude.


• Excellent time-management skills.


• Ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualification

Education and/or Experience

Minimum requirement to perform the essential functions of this position is a High School Diploma or a GED. Experience working in a long-term care facility preferred.
