Job summary

Surf Club Oceanfront Hotel in Dewey Beach, DE is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities include assisting with bed making, linen replenishment, and ensuring rooms are tidy for guest comfort.

The ideal candidate is diligent, organized, and able to work well in a team, delivering a welcoming environment for guests. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly welcome.
• Change bed linens and vacuum the room after housekeeper has cleaned the rest of the room.
• Notify managers concerning repairs in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Additional compensation per room completed correctly and efficiently.
