Job summary

Hyatt House Lewes Rehoboth Beach in Lewes, DE is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas. You will assist in making beds, replenishing linens and amenities, and ensuring spaces are tidy.

The ideal candidate is diligent, organized, and a team player. The role may require weekend/holiday shifts, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds with proper safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.

• Work schedule may include holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Change bed linens and vacuum room after the rest of the room has been cleaned.
• Notify managers about repairs needed in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective gear, and follow MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work to improve them.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Earn additional pay per room completed correctly and efficiently.

• Change bed linens and vacuum room after housekeeper has cleaned the rest of the room.
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.
