Job summary

La Quinta Inn & Suites Boston-Andover is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to ensure cleanliness of guest rooms and public spaces. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and strong guest service skills, with shifts AM/PM and weekend availability.

The position offers an hourly wage of $16.00 plus tips and opportunities for advancement within a growing hotel company. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required, and a team-oriented environment is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic housekeeping duties: change bed linens, restock supplies, vacuum, dust.
• Report and return any guest properties left behind.
• Report property damage to supervisor.
• Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift.
• Keep workstations and equipment clean and organized.
• Ensure guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate special guest needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

We are seeking a hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at La Quinta Inn & Suites Boston-Andover. This is a Part Time position located in Andover, MA. As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms and hotel public spaces, have a strong attention to detail, and provide exceptional customer service.

Summary

We are seeking a hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at La Quinta Inn & Suites Boston-Andover. This is a Part Time position located in Andover, MA.. As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms and hotel public spaces, have a strong attention to detail, and provide exceptional customer service.

Work Performed

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the entire hotel to create a memorable and unique experience for our guests.

• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing bed linens, restocking room supplies, vacuuming, and dusting
• Report and return any guest properties that were left behind
• Report cases of property damage to supervisor
• Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
• Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest needs
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
• Continuous standing 90% of time
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. limited
• Pushing up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work independently
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• Hours required: Part Time 24-hour shift Morning (AM); Afternoon (PM); Must be flexible; Weekends/ Holidays; scheduled days and times may vary based on need

Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities

• Previous customer facing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Second language is a plus
