Job summary

Avera Marshall Hospital is seeking a Regular part-time Environmental Services worker to keep patient rooms, lounges, halls, and public spaces clean and orderly. The role includes working primarily days with rotating weekends and holidays with a pay range of $17.50–$21.50 per hour, depending on experience.

You will dust, mop, vacuum, restock supplies, and ensure a respectful, confidential environment for patients and staff, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean environment in patient rooms, offices, halls, and public areas.
• Perform dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Restock supplies in cleaning carts and areas.

These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.Maintain good customer relations at all times.May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.Essential QualificationsThe individual must be able to work the hours specified.
