Job summary

Allure of Mendota, a skilled nursing and healthcare center, is seeking a dependable Housekeeper Laundry Aide to join our Housekeeping & Laundry Team. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, and facility equipment, following schedules and safety procedures to support a comfortable environment.

This full-time role offers day/PM shifts and values teamwork, compassion for residents, and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and maintain floors.
• Clean fixtures and surfaces and dispose of trash properly.
• Coordinate duties with nursing staff when in resident areas.
• Follow safety procedures for cleaning products and PPE.
• Report accidents or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeper Laundry Aide to join our Housekeeping & Laundry Team.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment
• Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed
• Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces
• Collect and dispose of trash properly
• Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment
• Mix cleaning solutions and disinfectants according to instructions
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
