Allure of Mendota, a skilled nursing and healthcare center, is seeking a Housekeeper Laundry Aide to maintain clean, safe environments for residents and staff. The role emphasizes teamwork, respectful care, and adherence to cleaning protocols.

You will follow schedules, use PPE, and report hazards while delivering confidential, compassionate service in Mendota, IL. The position offers a stable part-time schedule with day/PM shifts on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment.
• Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.
• Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash properly.
• Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas.
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions and disinfectants according to instructions.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeper Laundry Aide to join our Housekeeping & Laundry Team.

Responsibilities:

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment

• Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed

• Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces

• Collect and dispose of trash properly

• Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas
