Regency Florence is a small, 55-bed skilled facility on the Oregon coast seeking a compassionate Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to maintain residents’ rooms and common areas while following cleaning schedules and safety rules. The role supports a home-like environment and a collaborative care team.

You will disinfect and organize spaces, manage supplies, and communicate with residents and staff to ensure comfort and dignity for the senior population.

• Reads, writes, speaks and understands English.
• Compassion and interest in working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents’ rooms and common areas following cleaning schedules and safety rules.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces and manage cleaning supplies.
• Transport and restock linens, towels, and toilet items as needed.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing staff.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, volunteers, and staff.

We are looking for caring & compassionate resident-minded individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities include Housekeeping and Laundry Aide Duties!

As a Housekeeper, you maintain residents’ rooms and common areas of the community. You follow cleaning schedules, coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services, and adhere to sanitary/safety rules and regulations.

You Will:

• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home‑like environment for residents.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts to supply storage areas, keeping each tidy.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam‑operated sterilizers
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairs, and empty wastebaskets to meet health standards
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
