Job summary

Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Honeytown is hiring a full-time Housekeeper/Laundry aide to support cleaning and linen services across the facility. The role involves operating laundry equipment, transporting soiled linens, and performing routine housekeeping tasks in a compassionate, resident-focused environment.

Based in Wooster, OH, this in-person position requires ability to commute and relocate as needed, with day and night 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Laundry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laundry equipment.
• Deliver soiled linens to laundry and return clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms.
• Clean laundry room and sort/handle soiled linen tubs.
• Remove waste and trash from facility and work areas.
• Perform dry and wet mopping of all floors.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas.
• Dust and clean surfaces across the facility.
• Buff, wax, and strip floors as needed.
• Assist in moving rooms during deep cleaning as required.

Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Honeytown is hiring a Full-time Housekeeper/Laundry aide. This position works with all departments to ensure a clean facility. Regular daily cleaning will include but not be limited to cleaning all rooms and common areas in the facility.

Some job duties include but are not limited to

• Operate and maintain all laundry equipment.
• Delivers soiled linens to laundry; sorts, washes, dries, folds, and returns clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms.
• Cleans laundry room, sorting, and soiled linen tubs.
• Waste and trash removal.
• Dry and wet mopping of all floors
• vacuuming all carpeted areas
• General cleaning & dusting of all surfaces
• Buffing, waxing, and stripping of all floors as needed
• Deep cleaning and assisting in moving rooms as needed
